Assisted Living Centers
 

My mother-in-law may need to go to an assisted living center soon. There seems to be many choices and I would like anyone with experience with one near the Villages to tell me your thoughts. Thanks.

My parents lived at Sumter Place. They loved it and felt that it was a really class operation with good food and a great staff. Unfortunately (as happens), they both had significant changes in their health and had to move into a skilled nursing facility where mom remains. Dad reported aboard USS Heaven for duty and, being a chief, is undoubtedly back on active duty.

My sister is in the memory center of Sumter Place and I cannot say enough good things about the excellent care she is receiving there. She received personal attention in their assisted living facility so when the memory center opened we were thrilled. My mother was in a good assisted living facility in Charlotte, NC but it doesn't compare to Sumter Place.
