Oakwood in Wildwood - would like reviews
 

Did you like the food, service and atmosphere at Oakwood in Wildwood?
When did it open? Open 7 days a week?

The food was great, just like the other Oakwood on 441. The service was very good, too. Doesn't look like they made any changes to the interior. It's still a barbecue joint. Believe the sign on the door says they're closed on Sunday and Monday.

Didn't ask on TOTV just went and found out for myself.

Had Babyback Ribs full rack with 2 sides for $13.50 takeout the other day. Meat came right off the bone. Just as good as their 441 restaurant but much closer.

Same great food, although the menu was a little smaller, really nice wait staff..and...we went around 6 and there was NO line!!!

Food was good. Husband said that they would not take his Oakwood gift card that he got at Christmas time. Also, said that the prices are higher than the other Oakwoods and the menu is limited. Do not have baked potatoes for example.

At present they are not open on Sundays or Mondays.

We picked up ribs and two sides to go the other night. Food was DELICIOUS! Employees we dealt with were friendly. Asked about a side dish we get at the restaurant on 441.... was told they didn't serve it because it prep was more involved and the kitchen in the Wildwood store was quite small.

Have a feeling my car will soon know how to drive to the Wildwood location by itself.....plan on dining there or getting take out, often.

Just came back from the new Oakwood, great meal with leftovers for tomorrow night. Will definitely go back. Very pleasant experience.

Just ate here last night. Review of ribs..excellent! No baked potatoes or fried green beans, 2 of my favorite sides. Thought the interior was neat and very clean! Staff was great. Last night's chef was a little heavy on the bbq sauce, including in the baked beans. I always order my ribs dry and dip them in sauce at the table. Would I go again...absolutely! And best part on a Fri. night for early dinner there was NO LINE!
