Lifestyle Preview - We're Here
 

We're here on our Lifestyle preview. We probably won't be able to buy until Spring, but this is fun.

We fell in love with the Spanish Springs area. It takes a while to get acclimated - it's so big here.

They put us in a "Cottage" near Lake Sumpter Landing. We have a golf cart and two bikes with helmets. Everything looks brand new. The pool is only two houses away.
They're spoiling us. ha, ha.

If you saw some idiots in a golf cart which got on a regular road, that was us.

It's so beautiful riding around on the golf cart trails. We were here twice for day trips in
January and February, but are continually impressed with the cleanliness and beauty everywhere.

As someone else wrote, they give you plenty of free meals, also. It's a great deal and a great way to learn more about this great place.

Enjoy, enjoy! Sorry we're not there to meet you as well. We never did a Lifestyle Preview; we bought too fast because of an offer that couldn't be turned down.... In fact, we never took the trolley ride until we had friends visiting us in TV and they wanted to, so of course we joined them. Do as much as you can while you're there, and for sure go through the Red News and participate in things that interest you to give you a fulller experience. Good luck!

I think he meant REC (recreation ) news..a weekly published paper by the rec department, that lists all of the clubs and activities available.. into the thousands, I think..It's almost overwhelming to me as a newbie..I don't know where I'll start, when the day finally comes, that get to stay here fulltime. I can not wait!

The Recreation News is in the Thursday Daily Sun or you can pick up a current copy at the sales center or any recreation center. Also ask for The Villages Magazine it comes out monthly in The Daily Sun around the first of each month or ask for it at the sales center.

If you have the time, you might want to tell us when you're free and we can get a mini-get-together and have a chance to meet you. We've done it a few times either meeting at LSL by the clock or for lunch. Just shout out if you have the time.

That would be great. Could we meet at the clock at LSL? Either tomorrow or Tuesday evening would be great. We have to leave on Monday (sigh). It would be fun meeting some of the TOV'ers. I'll be the lady with the Saint Lucia cap, who is dripping sweat. ha, ha.

Correction - we leave on Wed.

Darn, missed this for tonight. I'll be at LSL around 4:30 to meet you. Hopefully, others will show up, too. Sadly, I'll have to leave at 6:30 -- already made plans that I really can't cancel.

If 4:00 is too early or you managed to meet a few tonight, just shout out and we'll do it on another visit, but I really do hope we can meet and I know there are others who would love it as well.

Hi,

We can make it at 4 or 4:30 today. Since, I didn't hear anything yesterday, we went to The Cattle Barron for dinner to use our comp ticket. Had a really nice dinner.
