Closing Katie Bells is the most selfish act the developer has done since i have lived in the villages. I do hope the out cry will be large enough to stop the demolition. :mad:

Personally, I don't care one way or the other. I've only been there once and didn't really care for it.

Why is this in the political forum? Does the word politics automatically send it here or was that the OP's choice of where to post? There is nothing political about this issue.

I think you probably have never worked for a business in any decision making capacity or had to run anything in the black.

One does not operate any restaurant for just the HAPPINESS of those who go there. Bills have to me paid, including supplies and rent and upkeep. If the money coming in is less than the money going out than guess what.

You don't know the developer and neither do I. Do you think his other projects show his lack of character, or do you like to bash successful businesses because someone is making money?.

Maybe it is a disgruntled Democrat who resents the money the Morse family gives to the Republican party. I think there is a lot of that going on.

A lot of pot stirring for that very reason.

I agree with your assessment. The original poster uses the term "selfish" ... as if he's owed something by the developer. I'm going to guess he/she is a straight ticket Democrat voter?

Once again the minority interest is struggling to present a case as if it were the effect of the general population when it clearly is not.

MAybe the OP thinks they can say what they think with more abandon than in the regular forums.
