Wonderful experience with Physical Therapy

Just wanted to share a wonderful experience I had with Central Florida Therapy Associates. The therapists for both PT and OT are very knowledgeable, thorough, kind and considerate. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis in January and thought I would never get out of pain and walk again. Through their efforts and care, I am not using a walker anymore and feel that returning to dancing is in the very near future. CFTA is located in the Santa Fe shopping plaza on 466 so its very convenient. The facility is outstanding, very clean and well equipped. Each patient gets their own room for therapy, unless they are using gym equipment, and this is especially nice when they are using heat treatments, massage or ultrasound treatments on you.

I'm so pleased with my progress that I thought I would share it with you. One word of advice, I continued my treatments after medicare ended in order to reach my goal of getting above a level where this will never happen to me again. Paying on my own hasn't been a very big hit because they are not that expensive and its well worth the money.

Thanks for the recommendation Kathy. I will probably need physical therapy in the future and I would definitely be interested. I like the idea of having your own room. When I was in Ohio I had a great PT and it was that way there and very private. It's nice to know it is there should we need it.

That sounds wonderful! I have another source though for P.T. and that's at All Coast Rehabilitation. It's located in the Oakland Hills Complex just past Billy's. We've been treated there and must say that Mike, Larry and Anthony do a great job. I too have spinal stenosis but also some other extreme lower back issues. We've been working together on that to address my pain issues and accompanying weakness. They're also located in Ocala.
