Need cataract surgery. Recommendations? Thoughts on Lake Eye ?

Just had my left eye done-St. Luke's, Dr. Kimberly Ireland--first class operation, no waiting , follow uo the same day--mt wife was to young for medicare, her plan requied Mid Florida Eye=what a difference-from a meat market to a comfortable environment

Both my wife and I had our surgeries done at St Luke's. Wonderful results. Great doctor and (just as important), great staff.

Had mine done at Lake Eye, thought they were very professional and caring. Dr Whirly did surgery. Recommend Dr Whirly

I just had my eyes done by Dr. Gutti at Lake Eye. He is there newest addition so it is easier to get an appointment with him. He was great. I highly recommend him.

Two more votes for Dr. Ireland at St. Lukes in Sumter Landing.

Impeccable, state of the art equipment.
Total focus of all is on the patient.

Dr. Ireland is the best eye person either one of us has had in our lifetime.

Lake Eye....Dr. Holman. They have 3 locations and I use the one in Leesburg since it is closer for me than The Villages location and because most Villagers want to stay in TV getting access in Leesburg is easier. They will soon be opening another location on 466. Haven't heard any cataract horror stories here so not sure there is a bad one, might learn more if that was the question.

Dr. Scott Holman Lake eye is going to do mine. I was told he is the best around

Tuesday is my final checkup with Scot Holman. You will be very pleased with the experience and Dr. Holman and his staff. My one disappointment, which I shared with Dr. Holman, was that my golf game did not improve after the surgery :)

Another note of praise for Dr. Kimberly Ireland at St Luke's in The Villages. She did my cataracts and she and staff are first rate.
