Looking for a Particular Villager...Help!
 

I am hoping the wisdom of the forum can come to my aid. I grew up with a girl, now 58, who is said to live in TV. I have been looking for her for about 10 years and she doesn't show up on Facebook. I only have her maiden name, Charlotte Popall, but if any of you might know her, I would sincerely appreciate contact information. She was an accountant prior to her retirement if that helps any. I am so excited! I have found her. I even found her aunt. You guys are the best! I can't believe I may be able to be reunited with my best friend since grade school. Her family even took me in for several years. I can't wait to call her in the morning.

Two weeks ago I was walking past a golf cart and happened to read the name tag, Greg so-and-so. I knew a guy by that name and asked the guys on the putting green "if so-and-so is from NJ". It was him. I coached against him for 20 before we both retired. Neither one of us new the other moved to The Villages.

When we decided to look into The Villages we found that my best friend at the Patent Office (we were in each other's weddings) now lives only a short ride along Pinellas Place from where we bought.

There's only one problem. The telephone numbers are both disconnected and my only contact isn't returning my emails. So, I have Charlotte's address but not her real phone number. I'm not giving up, however, even if I have to drive down from Ohio and knock on her door. But I still appreciate all the help. At least I know she's in The Villages. This IS a great site.

If you have an address I have two thoughts, one is old fashioned write a letter, the kind that has an envelope and stamp. Second option is contact a neighbor. Names of neighbors can be found on sumterpa.com. There won't be phone numbers but google can help with that sometimes.
