Colonoscopy required (

My Doc in KC said it's time for another colonoscopy, which won't happen until after I am in TV full time. Dr. Richard Truesdale was recommended to my wife - anyone have any good/bad experience with him. Thanks.

We are more than satisfied with Dr. Truesdale.

Dr. Tuesdale may be the best GI physician practicing in TV, but he is in his 60's and I was under the impression that he was not accepting new patients. He is part of the Gastroenterology Associates, 13940 N US Highway 441 Ste 801, Lady Lake, FL 32159. (352) 751-4885

There are several excellent GI specialists working at this practice, and I believe they now have a woman who people think is great.

We have been patients of Dr. Truesdale since we moved here, he is excellent. We had an appointment with him this week and he gave me documentation on the new Cologuard stool DNA test which avoids the dreadful prep.

No problem, went to him for the procedure for the first time in my life, and it was
over before i knew it, they are very good at relaxing you, and explaining everything. I highly recommend him and the staff.

Both my husband and I have used Dr. Thomas Mathew of that same practice for colonoscopies. (352) 751-4885 He also is wonderful and easy to talk to. Good luck!

I had my colonoscopy with Dr. Marianna DeJong and she is in Dr. Truesdale's group.
Everyone there is terrific.

Thanks for the recommendations; had 1st at 50, 2nd at 55 and now at 62; one of those things in life that I guess has to happen and no one looks forward to. :yuck:

Dr. Truesdale just performed my procedure on Tuesday morning and as I experienced five years earlier, perfect staff, perfect physician and great outcome (no pun intended). If every emergency room and every hospital floor had staff comparable to Dr. Truesdale's group we would all be extraordinarily blessed. Their group should provide other physicians and hospitals with customer care training such as theirs.

All the great comments for Dr. Truesdale also apply to Dr. Mathew. My wife and I had our colonscopy by him. He and Dr. Truesdale work for the same gastro group.

Pre-procedure visit scheduled for 6/1 with the procedure 6/8; pleasant way to start my full timing it in TV. :22yikes:

Gastroenterologists

I have been to Dr DeJongh several times and very pleased with her..her staff and N.P. also VERY good..the Endoscopy Center that they use is also an excellent facility when scope is needed. Highly recommend her!
