airport transportation from Sanford
 

Does anyone know if there is a shuttle that goes to Sanford airport? If so how to contact. Maybe even a private person that picks up and drops off people at the Sanford airport.

Do some searches on this site for the private services.

Me???............I rent a cart from Enterprise for $75 (including drop off fee). I feel more in control and know I'm going to make my flight.

Obviously...............I do the same from SFB to TV.

The Village Airport Van (not affiliated with The Villages) provides transportation to and from the Sanford Airport. Their phone # is 352-241-2000.
The price is $65 for the first person and $20 for each addition person ... from the same address.
They pick up and deliver passengers at their houses.

I recommend calling them for reservations.
We have used them multiple times.

Also, allow lots of time they go through Orlando airport BOTH ways, I think the travel time from Sanford to TV was over 3 hours with all of the stops and pickup delays.

Call Don Reid 352-446-898. I've used his service many times for Sanford. He's a private driver and usually you're the only passengers in his van and he drops you off at your doorstep. $65 for two, plus I tip him $10. Not sure of the cost for a single or for more than two.

George at Elite transportation, Summerfield. Highly recommended also with door to door service. I think his fee $60 each one way. 352-245-2563, But I'd call for exact quote if interested in private car service. I don't like going to Orlando int. then waiting and then going on to Stanford/Orlando just makes trip too long for me. So you got several to choose from. Which ever one you choose let us know how it went.

Charlie Witte runs a private car service, Charlie's Car Service LLC, that will take you to any of the airports. Picks up/drops off at your house, and you are the only one. The driver waits in the cell phone lot till you call him after picking up your luggage. I don't know the fee to Sanford or Tampa. (352) 430-3925. He lives in the Village of Caroline, and most of his drivers live in TV as well.

Do they pick you up at your house and go directly to Sanford Airport or do they go to OIA first then to Sanford?

Last time I used George at Elite, he charged me $75 to take me to Sanford. Needless to say, I'll not be calling George again.
