Break-in at Alhambra RV lot
 

Anyone have info on this? Heard second hand, they tried to lift an outboard motor off a boat but couldn't abscond with it.:shrug:

Not a rumor. Confirmed with Community Standards. Police report made to Sumter PD. Waiting for a call from Standards for details.

What is Community Standards? Is it a group, an office, or a thing? Anyway, I just spent two hours down at the RV Storage lot near Alhambra and saw no indication that something was amiss. I did notice, what I think are, updated cameras however. Maybe I just hadn't noticed them before. Community Watch was making its periodic rounds as usual.

The Community Standards Department is committed to upholding the high standards of our community’s residential architectural design, landscaping and aesthetics. The department has two divisions: Deed Compliance and Architectural Review.

Call Community Watch and try to get some information on it.

I would think that you would be more likely to get information from Sumter PD (I think we'd be talking Sheriff's Office) than Community Watch. Community Watch watches :22yikes: and reports :MOJE_whot: . Sheriff's Department chases, captures and charges. I still don't know how the Community Standards got involved.
