John, move to Palm Springs, that's what the landscaping looks like at every house. That's why I'm not moving there. BTW, I have a great house you can buy there, you interested??

John, we can't wait to be there full-time so we can plant our palm trees. Everytime we are there we sit on our front porch and dream about how it will look with a couple of palms. We just don't want to do anything yet. It's fun to imagine! :)

scottke, yeah, I'm the same way in dreaming about it for now, we're not there full time either and I know that palms take a lot of water to get them established.. but sometime soon perhaps..

I couldn't wait to plant palm tress. We didn't have them in Houston. Anyway, now we have 6 in our yard. Sorry to say though I didn't realize I'm allegic to plam trees, so now I'm miserable. Live and learn.
