RIALTO

This is the steepest one time price increase for movie tickets since we got here in June 2005.

I noticed less of crowd at the movies from couple years ago.

There are few movies worth seeing. Last movie we saw was 8.50---I believe.

That's a 13.3 percent increase..appears as if us old people is gettin' gouged!!

Maybe movies should be free like parking for taking tour buses!
Get serious.....
Try going to a NFL game, MLB or NBA. Then buy a $10 12oz beer !
$1 ????

I think its about $.50 more than I'd pay up in Ocala as a senior. Obviously not going to break us, but 13% increase is pretty hefty. They have a captive audience here so they know we'll pay it. Whatever the market will bear, as they say.

Haven't been to a movie here in quite a while. Nothing worth seeing IMHO.

Also, a pretty decent selection of movies and TV series at our Villages' libraries.
You can also find hundreds (thousands?) of movies on Youtube. Truckloads of movies I'd never even heard of from USA and UK from the 40s.

I haven't gone to the movies since January when I saw American Sniper, Imitation Game and Birdman. I liked all 3 films, and just as mentioned above there hasn't been much worth seeing lately. My other problem is I have Directv, the Premier Package with the Geni DVR. I've got so many movies recorded I don't have time to watch them all.

We watch a lot of movies on Amazon prime and netflix, but its nice to get some of the first run flicks at the movies.

I get a lot of the movies I watch from Redbox for $1.61 a night (that's with tax) but often to not have enough free time to finish, so it takes me a few nights or perhaps check-outs to see the whole movie.

They have Redboxes all over the Villages.

It takes me much longer to watch the Netflix movies as I can see them whenever. So, its 50 minutes here, 50 minutes there, and another 50 minutes on a third viewing if it is a long movie like The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies.

There are some really good movies available here. Thanks.

We went to the movies today in LSL - $17.00, which was higher than the last time we went. Better than movie prices back in our home town where the price of 1 ticket is $18.00!
