Happy Mother's Day to all moms....and those of us who are not busy sunday can all get together at Brownwood about four thirty for Rocky and the Rollers...we will try to find each other somewhere to the left of the stage. good idea to bring your own chair. then maybe we can celebrate at Scooples with some yummy ice cream :)

as for recognizing us, i have been thinking about that...everyone sees my photo here and my friend ronnye has long blonde hair and will be near the base of the steps off the stage on left. :) if i have time i will buy a balloon or something to hang on my chair, or maybe bring a large bluish umbrella to hold up for a while....if no one complains! when in front of the bandstand, please look on the left hand side. hopefully in the shade! :) on the pavement, not in the bleachers...i hate those bleachers! so bring a chair! see you on the 24th, debbie!

I will be coming down May 19 until 2nd week in June, will be going back and forth until home in PA sells. I would love to meet everyone while I am in The Villages. Where will the Meet & Greet be on May 24th and may I join you?
Also does anyone go to The Waterfront for dancing any night? Harry

the Meet and Greet on the 24th will be on the porch of the lake sumter landing sales office...it is a good idea to bring a folding chair...the waterfront is busier than ever now that katie belle's is closed for redesign...the new policy is one must spend $8 in order to be seated at a table...a good deal for an evening of dancing! :) i personally like tues nights with 2 for $20 dinners if we have a few guys along to dance, as it is not crowded! you will have plenty of fun, especially if you dance!!! and you can meet some pickle ball or golfing partners at the meet and greet, too. welcome!

in case of rain today, we can always take shelter in the empty bleachers and have a gab fest...i am going to plan on getting a balloon today.

wow it was a hot night but we still had a good time and met a few newcomers, mark, al, and lee, and newbie linda as well as the some of our regular group! next on the agenda will be a movie outing to see the 2nd Best Marigold Hotel....will post time tomorrow...we are thinking wed afternoon and then on to cody's for 2 for 1 fajitas :) thanks for all who came and spotted my happy face balloon!
