What is there to do for a 21yr young lady in TV?
Our college age daughter will come to visit for one week. We are hoping she won't get bored. I know which pools she can or can't use. Can she use any of the gyms to work out? What else do young visitors usually like to do?
We are new in Dunedin. Thanks |

Each month has a theme and this month is baseball. Bring you're daughter, she'll have a ball. |

You need to get her a guest card for her to participate in some activities. Do so as soon as possible so you will have it in time. Call a rec center to see which one you have to go to to sign up. You can also go to the District .com or net web site and do it on line and pick up at a rec center. I think she can go to MVP Gym for a daily fee.

Take a day trip to Madiera Beach. There is a great beach bar called The Undertow and you can park in their lot free, walk around the bar, and go right on the beach. The sand is powder soft and the water in the Gulf has a very gentle slope.
You can get there in two hours, spend time on the beach, have a cold drink at the beach bar, and be back in The Villages in time for the evening entertainment. |

When my daughter and her boyfriend were in a month ago, they went kayaking on the Crystal River. They had a great time. The number is (352) 795-2255. I do believe it is about a 45 minute drive from TV's.
There is also a day at one of the Disney Parks or just go for dinner and walk around. Winter Park is also a nice day's outing, shop a bit and have lunch at one of the many outdoor restaurants. |
