Business in TV earn $500 million in sales
 

Everyday something about TV astonishes me and today it was reading that businesses in The Villages reached $500 million in sales last year. Imagine how much more is generated by Villagers shopping in nearby communities. Amazing!

That's what happens when you work hard for 40+ years to become debt-free, buy only what you have the cash and income for, and are disciplined to save/invest consistently for your senior years.

Most of us got here by that trusty method. I doubt there are many with inherited wealth here.

As more people who were fortunate enough to retire early and move to TV, I would expect revenue to increase.

I don't expect build-out to stop anytime in the near future, is another factor going forward.

Snowbirds add to businesses bottom line and we should be thankful for the revenues spent.

BTW -500M, is not peanuts! :D

Could you put a value on "inherited wealth"? Or what do you really mean?
