Sprinkler system/Bird Cages
 

I am thinking of putting up a bird cage - can anyone tell me what happens to the sprinkler system? I have seen this question a couple of times - but - did not see an answer.

Are the sprinkler heads where the bird cage is going to be closed - and if so - does that effect the other sprinkler heads we still want to use.

Or - are the sprinkler heads moved to accomodate the bird cage?

I'm going through it now. They extend the existing heads(if they are needed) to the end of the slab, If they are not needed they cap them. Takes them a short time because the sod is already removed for the concrete. We used T&D concrete, Happy so far.

As Willy says, most contractors will do the irrigation reconfiguration as part of the job....just make sure that it is included in their bidded scope of work. We've just gone thru the bidding stage on a similar project with 3 vendors...they all said they would do the irrigation reconfiguration...some I felt more confident in than others. We also decided to go with T&D.
