Meet and Greet
 

How would everyone feel about a "meet and greet" of all political forum members at one of the local watering holes to say ""hello" each other?

Personally, I would like to meet some of the same minded folk or the loyal opposition.

I wonder if guns and knives are optional or mandatory?

Actually, even though we are not all on the same side of the aisle, I truly believe we are intelligent enough to be social with each other and to respect each other.

I would really like to meet all.

I'm all in anytime after June 1st.

Meet and Greet is a good idea but much to my chagrin, not for the members on this forum.

There is a reason that everyone's username is Guest. There is a reason why no one can edit a response or personal message to another guest.

I suspect 99% of the people on this forum are good folks with intelligent points of view. However it is that 1% in question.

There was once a time when people could one on one have a civilized political debate and after it was finished leave as friends. Unfortunately that landscape has drastically changed. Just look at our universities supposedly the one place where intelligent debate should take place exercising First Amendment rights. However these institutions have become the biggest offenders again First Amendment rights.

As much as I dislike it TOTV rules concerning this forum allow us to express our views while safeguarding us against personal bellicose attacks by the few
