The question is .... WHY is the level of violence increasing? This is all black on black crime ... no white cops involved as far I can tell

The criminal element has figured they have less or nothing to fear from the recently emasculated police force.
They too have noted the police would rather, in the current environment, write a report than pursue the perps (and the run the risk of being wronged again).

Another article posted by me in another thread with an article about the 50-50 chance of being mugged/killed in Manhattan. The crime numbers have climbed substantially now that there is no stop and frisk anymore.

The police are quickly joining the silent majority.

Chicago also had some record breaking numbers for shootings and killings over the weekend.

The leadership, special interest and minority groups are doing a great job!!

And extremely, and telling so, quiet !

Dear Guest: I am surprised you have even asked why? Because the answer is quite obvious. Its the Republicans fault. Its their fault because they don't show enough love. They are all white fat guys that hang out only with other white fat guys. They do not contribute to society but are all takers. They sit in front of the TV with their hand under their belt to hold in their fat stomachs. But its not their fault because they just don't seem to have an awareness of what is going around them

The frustration is understandable, but the comment is unacceptable.

Now, that is a racist comment if I ever heard one.

I have already posted that I found the comment to be unacceptable,but it is borne of frustration.

It is not appropriate, but so many read what is posted, SUPPOSEDLY NOT RACIST, condemning an officer of the law......BECAUSE HE IS WHITE.

THAT is the direction things are going, and as many have said, the longer the dialogue is one sided, as it is now, these frustrations will grow.

I am sure you do not believe the condemnation of the officer in Ferguson IMMEDIATELY WITH NO FACTS, was not racial, even those it was made SIMPLY BECAUSE HE WAS WHITE.

As I type this, the NAACP is blaming the police. He refers to a slowdown even though it has been explained very clearly that the police are on notice that anything done pro active will subject you to charges.

The officers who originally chased the man in Baltimore, who have been indicted yet they were nowhere near that van. They acted proactively, and now lost their careers, looking at jail time, etc.

Residents surrounded police in Baltimore this weekend and under normal circumstances the police would have acted however when they are subject to understanding that if person you chase is black, that has serious circumstances for you and your family.

Not sure how the resolve this.

I think the police should continue to hold back to protect themselves. When, and only when, the locals start protesting to have more police presence should they then think about going back on the beat.

No I meant it how many whites are out shooting black cops how often are whites rioting and looting and burning neighborhoods. And when one city has issues other cities riot , No I meant it. Until the blacks change their ways whites will look at them in this manor. I try to give everyone a fair shake but sorry not this time. They are creating their own problems.
