Re: PICTURES OF NEW YORK
WOW....Thanks for posting the pics.....even though I live in MD now....I always consider NY my home. My husband was born in Brooklyn, his father was raised in Hell's Kitchen, and we lived on LI where we raised our 2 kids....so my heart is always in "The Big Apple."
Thanks again, BSLINY MD Blondie |
Re: PICTURES OF NEW YORK
'WOW!' is right; what a reminiscence! A little scary that I remember quite a bit of this.... (Ouch!)

Re: PICTURES OF NEW YORK
Thanks, BSLI, I loved these. Your right, best to view them when you have a lot of time so you can savor the magnificence of the architecture of Manhattan. Some day I'd love to take a course in the various periods of architectural designs. Although it was sad to see some of the spires become dwarfed by the taller, larger, more art deco buildings, it still is a magnificent looking city.
The skyline of the 50's could not be beat. Thanks for sharing. |
Re: PICTURES OF NEW YORK
Thanks for the pictures. Even though I live in TV, I will always be a New Yorker.
