Dog groomer
 

I've been using Pet Smart but the last two grooms were not very good......so, I'm looking for someone new. Has anyone used Dog n Suds on 301? There's a coupon in today's paper and it's fairly close to me. Any info on them? Good? Bad? Thanks in advance.

i have taken my dog there numerous times.. Nice people and they did a decent job.. My Millie is mixed yorkie/schnauzer - I have no other groomer to compare them to. She was always done in a timely manner.

I bring my cocker spaniel to The Dog House on 441 just after the Marion Market on the Right hand side where the barber shop is. The ladies are fabulous and you can wash your own dog and dry them if you want.

I take my poodle to Vanity Fur on 441, a couple of miles past route 42 going toward Ocala. Very satisfied.

I have taken my little Chihuahua to Wolfgang in Brownwood several times....Cindy is her groomer and does an excellent job on my little shy beauty.

At Pet Smart if you are not happy with the groom, call them back and they will redo your dog. At a minimum you should talk to RoseAnn who is the Salon Manager...she is very reasonable and wants to hear all comments both good and not so good.

We have been going to Pet Smart for 6 years and have been very satisfied overall. Yes there have been once or twice when something was not right (ie had to go to a new groomer and her sanitary cut was not properly done and the day after the cut it was all over my long hair dog) I called them up no problem....they gave her a new bath and re did the problem area.

I find the Pet Smart staff very courteous, prompt in calling when your pet is done, and all at a reasonable price......plus its not a far drive to get there.

Caroline, I agree with everything you say. I as well have been going to Pet Smart for 5 years. Here, in Cape Coral, and in Wisconsin. I was always pleased. The time before last, the cut was just not good and she was losing chunks of hair for weeks. This last time, the cut was worse. These last two times, there was no report card and no bow or scarf.....now mind you, I do not care about the report card or the bow...I just thought it strange that they seemed...overwhelmed, overworked??? not sure..but I was surprised that they had not done the usual routine stuff.

Three grooms ago, she had the manager do it and it was the best cut she has ever had.

You are correct that I should have complained....I'm just one that is not comfortable complaining....I know, not complaining gets me no where.

I just started having my dogs groomed, silly me thought I could do it myself. I've never heard of the groomer you mentioned but I have a great groomer. Her name is Jessica Floros and the name of the company is Flawless Paws. She comes to you and is always very timely and reliable. 352-459-6949

Another vote for Jessica at P&J Flawless Paws. She is excellent, shows up on time and gets them done quickly. I've been very happy the three times she has groomed the schnauzers. I "think" she is now an advertiser on TOTV.
