Tallies to the Right of Poster's Name
 

Not quite sure what to call it...maybe a poster score? It's those categories along the right side of the box where a poster's name is listed: For example:

Join Date: Nov 1912
Posts: 2000
Post Thanks / Like
Thanks (Given): 0
Thanks (Received): 0
Likes (Given): 0
Likes (Received): 0
Dislikes (Given): 0
Dislikes (Received): 0

I only noticed it recently so if there was a discussion thread about it I missed it. I'm open to reason(s) for it being there but for now it seems rather juvenile.

Go to your Usercp. Left click it.
At the bottom of the page, click on Settings.
The 2nd block "Postbit Settings", click on all three to stop the nonsense.

I'm glad it seems to have worked for you, but be advised ... I tried these steps right after you originally posted them in another thread - they have had NO affect for me.

Now when I follow these steps I see this:

And yet.....they are indeed missing from your post. :confused:

I (and maybe others?) expected them to be hidden from every post. Oh well, as the saying goes ... it's a feature, not a bug!

There was a discussion thread about it a week or two ago.
A lot of people posted negatively about it and were concerned about how it would be used.
At first glance, it does seem juvenile, like a high school popularity contest.
However Admin assured us that it was just an idea they are testing. Not sure why.

Thank you for your post, KayakerNC. I followed your instructions and they seem to have eliminated the tallies.

Just some custom code/devilment we are experimenting with you can disregard.

I, for one, am glad I no longer see those tallies. It just took up more room.retty soon we'll have people doing all sorts of things to get there numbers up.. I see too much of that now. Ok, go ahead and blast me for that comment...

I must've missed the entire brouhaha. Yay for me.
