Is any one else having issues with this site being unbelievably slow? No matter what thread I would like to read, it takes so long for that page to open and then when I am finished and click the back arrow it takes even longer to get back to the previous page. It is really annoying and becoming too time consuming to go thru 4 or 5 pages of new posts. This has been going on for several days now. I welcome any advice on how to solve.

Yes, having the same problems. Thought it was our computer. Very frustrating. The site is almost impossible to use at this time.

Its not just TOTV Like everything in The Villages the internet cables are also getting overcrowded

Try installing Ad Block Plus. It's free. It solved my "slow" problem.

Not in the villages and find the site is so loaded with ads and so much info everytime I log on. Wish I could filter out the postings to show the most recent posting on a thread instead of the oldest everytime.

Wow that ad block really does the trick.

Loads with a page full of ads, that takes time.

Go to USERCP (top of Page) and Click on Edit Options, Go to Thread Display Mode and click on Linear - Newest First.

The threads will now be in newest to oldest posts.

My tablet freezes every time I am on this site. Waiting for all the ads to display it just freezes up. Too frustrating to spend any real time on TOTV.

Wow is right. It is now super fast with Adblock plus.
