Any Programs To Cover Cost of Spay/Neuter?

I am trying to get someone to spay and neuter their dogs. I have told them about some low cost programs, but they do not have the funds to cover even the low cost programs. Does anyone know of any assistance programs or free spay/neuter clinics?

I told them about that spay/neuter place, too. They still don't have the funds for it.

Some people think pets are just that, pets and they don't cost money. HOw quickly they learn that is not the case. If they don't get the dog spayed in a certain amount of time, it will cost them a lot more in time trouble and cost. Assuming it is a small dog, $45 is pretty reasonable.

So true. This is really sad. I guess those pets will get little in the way of veterinary care also.

Those dogs are healthy, well-fed, and up-to-date on shots. They will put off paying a bill to make sure the dogs everyday needs are met.

Spaying & neutering are so important. Not only because of overpopulation of pets, but it also reduces the animals chances of getting mammary cancer, testicular cancer, and other things.

I'm glad to hear that. I don't mean to sound too harsh...it sounds like they love their dogs...but imo spaying/neutering are equally important to the everyday needs.
