New rules for hostages
 

Obama to announce new rule today allowing terrorists to negotiate directly with family members. We are not going to prosecute families who want to pay to have their family member returned. Will this put more Americans who travel abroad at risk of being kidnapped? Should the U.S. pay the random? Is the average citizen capable of dealing with Isis? Will they go after more of our kids overseas knowing how a parent would never want to see their child beheaded? Will this make us safer or send a message to the terrorists that's its OK to kidnap Americans?? And the purpose of Obama announcing this is??

Presenting killers and terrorists sworn to kill Americans an incentive to kidnap ONLY raises the risk of more Americans being vulnerable. And YES the ONLY accomplishment is sending them a message they have an avenue to get what they want.

can be sure of one thing and that is it fits his agenda, whatever that is or it is politically motivated....and these are usually one in the same.

It appears Obama makes self percieved political/personal gain changes just for the sake of making a change. History has no meaning or impact on his decisions. Just to further clarify my opinion of how he thinks.....
If he were a restaurant owner and someone asked him if his meat products were government inspected, he would reply yes they are without hesitation.
What he will not reveal is that the meat was rejected. This is his lawyer training allowing him to answer by hiding abusing the law.

This change adds no value in the realm of safety from terrorism for American citizens and ONLY provides....no encourages those who would harm us to be more open and aggressive at capturing Americans.

How does one negotiate to save a life from one who is already sworn to take that life?
