FYI: If you have a slab painted

If you intend to have your lanai/birdcage painted, and the contractor acid washes the slab, make sure they either flood the area after the acid wash to dilute the acid, or use a neutralizing rinse ( baking soda and water ?). If this is not done, the white screws holding the frame will rust, and the paint will begin to bubble off the screen frame. This condition will not be covered under any warranty. I followed the trail all the way back to the distributor of the framing and found I was on my own to replace or repair.

Sorry that happened to you. I have never been a fan of the acid etching of concrete. I have finished a few of my own concrete floors (garages and basements) I use an electric floor scrubber with coarse sanding disk, keeping it cool with just plain water (also keeps the dust down). I then use pressure washer with plain water to riinse the removed material. Let the surface thoroughly dry for a couple days (a fans speeds it) and then apply finish.

The acid must take the coating off the screws.

Just need to replace the base screws I suppose, not a big deal but a PIA

Great to know. We are close to needing pool deck painted.
