While our country is celebrating a man can now marry a man, woman to woman Isis is celebrating ramadad by beheading, mass murders etc One beheading in France , head put on display on fence, and a blowing up of American plant etc , another of at least 30 on a resort beach and I believe two more incidences (not sure where yet). Also suicide bomber walked into mosque and blew himself up with those on floor praying. Sorry I do not have all facts yet but its difficult to find the real news with the press and Obama more concerned with gay rights. Maybe someone else will be able to obtain the information and fill us in. Must be chatter between the terrorists to kill during their holiday. But not to worry, Obama to speak on this historical day and then attend the funeral for the black pastor who was killed. Hmm. Wonder if the pastor had been white, killed by a black or black Muslim he would attend.

Unfortunately I am never surprised at The level of bigotry and nastiness not to mention the sheer ignorance of right wing posts.

Since all they pay attention to for their "News" is fox, Limbaugh and Beck, they are astonished to find that the majority of people don't see the world in the distorted way that they do.

Seriously?!? Do you read/listen to ANY news except what you WANT to see or hear? Check out something as simple as msn.com if you want to know what the OP is talking about - real world events that could affect all of us - just give it time and continued complacency and diversion to less serious matters like many in this country seem to dwell on these days.

How do the liberals think? Do you ignore what Isis has just done? Do you "pretend" they didn't just behead someone once again in France?? How do you do it? I consider myself a very compassionate person and what they are doing bothers me tremendously. Gay rights at bottom of my priority list of importance. People being killed by these Savage's is extremely important as they move into U.S. would like a liberal to explain? For the life of me, I have no idea how you bury your head in the sand? Explain ?

ISIS/ISIL/Islamic State, is a threat to humanity and a perversion of a religion, but I, myself, have no earthly idea how we effectively neutralize or defeat them. In my opinion we cannot afford, financially or in terms of lives, to get into any kind of conventional war with them. Are you willing to risk your grandchildren's lives to bet we can win such a war? Of corse you are not, but since now we can count on an all volunteer army, you are willing to risk other people's grandchildren to do the dirty work, just as most of the warmongering republicans in the Bush administration, as well as the tough guys on this board did in Vietnam. What are YOU willing to do to fight ISIL?
As for Gay marriage, I am not directly affected in any way, though I personally know at least three couples who have taken advantage of the opportunity in their states and seem to be living very productive and positive lives. I am also not affected by AHCA, but know there are many people who have positively benefited, as well as some who have been adversely affected. If the republicans had spent half the energy to fix the problems in the AHCA instead of their Quixotic monumental waste of time, and taxpayers money to defeat it, largely out of their hatred for the President, we probably would have a much better situation than we now have. Remember, the basis of the AHCA was a conservative concept and the final bill had a TON of compromise between parties. Had the democrats had their way we would have a single payer system such as seems to work very well in Canada and Scandanavia, among other places.

You are correct my head is on something else like how to defeat the enemy. I have an earthly idea. We put ground troops in and wipe the scum off the face of the earth. This way we can sleep at night knowing our kids and grandkids have a future. Otherwise you pray your kids aren't in the wrong place at the wrong time. In what world do you live where it is acceptable to rape, torture, kill, behead, burn, drown innocent people while filming it? We have the best military in the world sitting around because the Liar-in-chief isn't capable of making a decision

How about the thousands of kids and grandkids who give their lives in this ground battle? Sounds easy, just put boots on the ground and wipe the scum out - like we did in Vietnam? You're correct, I pray my kids are not in the wrong place at the wrong time and I can think of no more wrong place than in the Middle East fighting ISIS. I LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE THE ATROCITIES YOU DESCRIBE ARE ABHORRENT, AND. EVIL. I also live in a world where you have to understand what you can and cannot control. Are you really so naive as to believe the battle with ISIL is so simple as sending in the marines? Thank God you are nowhere near the decision making ability.
