Class action lawsuit being prepared against Flowers Delivery Express
 
A class action lawsuit is being prepared against Flowers Delivery Express for their business tactics. There is NO cost to anyone who joins the lawsuit, even if it is unsuccessful.

FDE made the mistake of burning one of members of the law firm, in which every attorney is a former state or federal prospector.

The law firms wants complainants from as many states as possible. I signed by claim as an Ohioan. Many in The Villages can sign from their own states if they are legal residents there, or from Florida if they got burned by Flowers Delivery Express, as I did.

Yes, it is your right to join a class action lawsuit but is very impractical. The only persons who make anything from a class action suit are the lawyers. If there is a settlement or if the court decide in favor of the plaintiffs, the class action participants receive basically pennies.

I have received as much as $3 and as little as 59 cents from different product class action suits I joined. The lawyers got a couple of million dollars.

It ain't worth the cost of a stamp, bro.

Me too. I've been a part of three and the most I've gotten is $12.50 in coupons. Not to say that it doesn't teach them a lesson. Sometimes just knowing that they aren't going to get away with their scamming is enough to join. I sued Acer computers under the lemon law a few years ago as part of a string of lawsuits against them for their lemon computers. I flew to Philadelphia to be part of the suit only to have the judge dismiss us and say to sue separately in our own hometowns. He just didn't want to deal with it. Acer sent a whole team of fancy lawyers to court that day. They didn't want to lose that's for sure.

I got a check for $16,001 for the class action lawsuit I joined. If you do nothing, you get nothing.

The attorneys filing the lawsuit, if they lose, will pay the other attorneys' fees. So you lose nothing. For that matter, you do not spend the cost of a stamp either. Once you notify the attorneys, it's all done by email.

But if you want to let Flower Delivery Express continue to run their scam on everyone, be my guest. But joining class action lawsuits DOES pay off. Yes, law firms collect millions. But if all I get back is the $74.35 I paid for the dead flowers, I'll be happy.

But FDE probably is thrilled for those who have your attitude so they can do their damage forever.

I've used Flower Delivery Express with no problems.

But more than 5,000 complaints to the Better Business Bureau, at least two web sites with up to 900 complaints about Flower Delivery Express, which goes by FDE because it's close to FTD, nearly $100,000 in documented losses by people who used Flower Delivery Express, including me, make me think that you are the exception rather than the rule. As a side note, that is why you never order flowers from an online wire serVice. ALWAYS go your your local Brick and Mortar business and support them with your business.....:BigApplause:

I disagree, but I already said that, with pictures, on the first thread about FDE. You shouldn't slam a whole industry for one bad apple.

But this was a situation where I was in Ohio and Paula was in Florida so I went the Internet route, as I do for most things successfully. Obviously, it was a mistake on my part. I have a Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio florist, Dietz Flowers, that I use for all my local flowers.

But it wouldn't be life if you didn't fall off the truck every now and then. Right?

I've had good success with ordering flowers on the internet.
People usually take a picture of the flower arrangement and email it to me to say thank you.

I have used this company twice. No problems. The flowers they delivered were fresh and looked like the picture.

I have mixed feelings on the on line companies who deliver flowers. Many times they come all bent up and totally buds. It takes a week for them to open and they are so crooked to display in a vase. A few times they have wilted so badly on the porch when left by Fed-ex that they had to be replaced. My roses never did open and finally the heads dropped. My experiences have been bad to the point I have asked my son to use the Villages Florist instead of using the on line companies as there is mostly always an issue. The flowers delivered by the Villages Florist have always been beautiful. I have had luck obtaining a refund for him from the on line companies so no issue there. It just kind of spoils the moment to have to deal with a bad delivery.

I know you didn't aim that a me. But this guy is a really, really bad apple who needs to be decored. Those DC prosecuters may be just the ones to peel this bad apple.

I sure hope so. Mark my words: Others in The Villges will get taken by Flowers Delivery Express or Wesley Berry Flowers, both with the same CEO and scams and bad flowers and shell game financial dealings.
