Water polo ? ?
 

Watching a Water Polo match between USA and China in the Olympics and was wondering if there is this sport at any of the Sports pools. I know there is water vollyball but polo?

Much rougher sport than I would have thought and very entertaining.

The rec dept. had water polo at Colony Cottage sports pool a couple of weeks ago.
they played while sitting in inner tubes. I didn't play but it looked like fun.
the hardest part of the game appeared to be staying upright in the tube. It seemed like the rec dept owned the tubes so I would think they will have it again.

Thanks, very much, that link shows a game that looks like a lot of fun and can you imagine the number of calories you can burn at the same time? Thanks, also, for the info that the Rec Ctr introduced the game a few weeks ago....appreciate it.

Calories? Yes the way it was played on the video but the video i saw on Minute by Minute from the Villages match a couple of weeks ago looked a little (read a LOT) more sedate. Still looked like a load of fun though!

Does anyone have THAT link from Minute by Minute? I think it was about a week and a half ago but it have been overlaid on the drop down.

Oh, Russ_Boston, I would have enjoyed viewing that. I usually check out Minute by Minute but haven't done so in a few weeks since the interruption they had. Now that you have reminded me, I'll have to start viewing it again.
And, as for the calories, ANYTHING that can burn even one additional calorie will work for me and the laughs are good for the soul.
