I'm taking off for Michigan in about an hour. It's been a fun and memorable summer. Many different quotes come to mind as I leave:

Every goodbye makes the next hello closer.

Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.

Saying goodbye isn’t the hard part, it’s what we leave behind that’s tough.

You never leave someone behind, you take a part of them with you and leave a part of yourself behind.

Be safe Renie. This fall and winter bring great happenings..the return of Barefoot, HB and Sid, You and so many others. TV isn't the same without you all.

You have made the summer sparkle for us Renie! It will be wonderful this winter with you back for a bit and all of our dear snowbirds. One more year and you'll be a frog! Be safe on you trip home. Give Steve a big hug. And vetman says "Bring back strawberries!"

Renie, I can't tell you how much fun it was for Paula and I to meet you on the square with the rest of the TOTV crew. It was just GREAT 040!!!! I will look forward to seeing you in December when you return. Have a safe trip and take good care of yourself. wav

I'm only driving 6 hours a day. Last night I stayed north of Atlanta, tonight I'm in Lexington, KY, tomorrow I'll be back home. It's been a smooth drive so far and I hope for the same tomorrow.

Know what???? I honestly thought about turning around. I had to fight that urge like you wouldn't believe.
