Has anyone used the company that advertises in TV paper....Canadian Discount Rx Services?

I called and there is a guy who will find you the best price, then he places the order and it is shipped directly to one's home.

Sounds like something any one of us could do.

And in this day and age to give cash/check/CC info to a 3rd party is not a plus in my book.

But if there are references....positive.....it may be an alternative to consider.

We haven't used this particular Canadian pharmacy, but we did use universaldrugstore.com very satisfactorily for several years until we went on Medicare. Saved a bunch of money.

When we walked in, there was a funny feeling :ohdear: that something was NOT right! When we get that feeling , we leave....He needed credit card info up front, which isn't unusual, I guess, but the room has small offices, with table and chairs and that's ALL, which concerned us....Hmmmm!

I can't comment on this particular company but the whole field of online, and especially out-of-country, medications is rife with scams. In the December issue of the Village Homeowners Association, The Villages Voice, there is a good article from Seniors Vs Crime titled "Safe Shopping For Online Medications". You should read it before shopping for meds online. To get to their site, go to http://www.thevha.net/ and then click (across the top) on "The Villages Voice". When the list of available issues comes up, click on December 2010 and a list of articles will come up. Click on the Safe Shopping For Online Medications and you can read the article.
