Minimum wage to $15 creates problems for some recipients
 

I thought I was going to spit my coffee all over the car when I heard this one on the news this moring.

Some recipients of the new increase to $15 per hour are asking to have their hours cut. Why? Because they are making too much money and will be over the limit allowed to earn and continue to collect welfare and food stamps.

That in a nutshell is a perfect example of the distorted mentality the give away programs nurture.

Unemployment compensation to incent people to not want to work.
Food stamps and welfare incent people not to work.
Increase minimum wage for low income to have a better life....whoa!!! Not too fast Uncle Obama, I don't need that mucg money and mess up my other freebies.

What is happening to our beautiful America?

This is why social programs with sometimes good intentions (not the ones with the sole purpose to buy votes!) have unintended consequences!!!
