Spyders are little cyber robots from search engines likes Google and Yahoo that prowl around the internet looking for key words in order to help rank returns for particular phrases. Right now, as I am typing this, there are 4 spyders lurking on Talk of The Villages, reading your posts. This goes on 24/7.

Now, if every member of TOTV began all of the posts for the next week with the phrase, "The Villages, Florida," those spyders would think we are the number one search destination for "The Villages, Florida" and we would zoom to the top of the search engines. ;D

Naw, I don't think I could get everybody to do that, could I?????? :dontknow:

I always thought a Spyder was a step above the Chevrolet Corvair Monza.

I had one. Monza, that is, with Spyder power train. Go fast across the California desert when I lived there.
