Such insight. Thanks.

Why should he? As tragic as this incident is, it really isn't in the same category as a cop shooting an unarmed suspect. Sadly, cops getting shot in the line of duty is part of the job, just as fire personnel dying in fires. Should any POTUS really be speaking out on incidents of this nature? What should not have happened is Obama speaking out against the Ferguson shooting until he was sure a federal investigation was warranted.

I could have called him a racist what would you say to that . Maybe a racist democrat would be better.

If a cop getting shot is part of the job, then a dirt bag robber getting shot by a cop should also be considered part of the job. Dirtbag's families should also shut the heck up and be embarrassed instead of suing the taxpayer and those putting their lives on the line to protect the ungrateful.

First of all,Michael Brown was killed on Saturday, August 9. President Obama issued a long statement on Tuesday, August 12 so there was no wait for anything. Now, he was forced to do it early because of the situation, but please insure you have your facts straight on this stuff. What you said was not true.

My dissapointment on that subject specifically is his, the Presidents failure to apologize or even mention (to my knowledge) Darrin Wilson whose life has been altered severely by inaccurate and meanspirited attacks.

Second disappointment is his lack of comment on black crime in general and the lionizations of black criminals who challenge police.

Why would Obama even address these incidents? These are issues of individual states. He is very unprofessional and un-presidential becoming involved in a lot of stuff that he should allow the individual states to handle. Other presidents either did not even address these type issues or they would cut the statement short by saying that the incident was unfortunate and he had confidence that the state would handle it appropriately. His comments are ALWAYS divisive and offensive, NEVER of healing. Obama is pathetic and a great disappointment.

Read what was said carefully before chastising someone. What was said was that Obama should NOT have spoken out about Ferguson unless a federal investigation was warranted. At the most, he should have said the facts were not completely in and if a federal investigation for civil rights violations was needed, then federal action would be taken.

Obama should not be commenting on matters such as these, whether it is a cop shot or a citizen shot unless a federal investigation is more than likely forthcoming and the facts need to come out before that can be determined. Let the locals do their job. Let the media make sure municipalities and state investigators are not covering anything up, then let the POTUS speak up if needed.

Sorry if you misunderstood my reply. I was not disagreeing with you. Perhaps I did not word it properly.

Officer Darrin Wilson shot and killed an unarmed teen ager!

He was not beaten by the teen ager. Wilson did not have any injuries.

He is a cop that panicked and shot needlessly in fear. Coward!

TWO complete and thorough investigations, one by the Justice Department does not agree with you in anyway....not even close according to those investigations.

Go figure.

We are talking about the cop shot in Memphis not somewhere else. Read the the post and also read the paper in reference to this case. The only thing obama cares about is white on black crime. Bottom line he is a racist.

You forgot to mention he's a Muslim, Kenyan, terrorist lover, etc etc.

What are all your clowns going to do for sport after he leaves office? Go have another beer and dream of the long lost days of Ronald Reagan and try to somehow get a life!

Well, at least you don't deny that he's a racist. That's a start I guess.
