Water odor in Buttonwood

We just moved into Buttonwood and our water has a terrible odor. Anyone else experience this and what can you do about it?

If you JUST moved in, just open all of the taps and let them run. Water sitting in pipes gets stagnant and grows stuff in this heat and the pipes really do better after flushing them out. If it is your sprinkler system outdoors, they all smell "ripe" in the heat of summer and sometimes all of the time.

When we moved to pennacamp the water was beyond smelling, four years later not much different. Then off to fernandinia, and not much improvement. Now in Duval and I don't notice the smell as much. But we still drink bottled water. Outside water just stinks no matter where you are

Is it similar to a rotten egg smell? If so, I agree with Gracie. We get it in our main bathroom every so often. Pouring vinegar down the drain takes care of it.

We have had our system for about a week and what a difference in our water. The smell is gone and our bath soap seems to lather up better. I had two company's give me estimates and both wanted to sell me a water softener and a whole house filter system $2500 to $3500. This system does not take up any room in the garage and depending on water usage you should be to get a year use out of the filters. Job well done on the installation! Any questions PM me!

Most places have water that does not wake up your sense of smell. Over time, you will come to love that "unique scent" as a reminder that you are alive and living in the best place in the world!

Go with Nova for good water at a reasonable price. Water is very important!

We have a water softner to treat our water because my hair gets crispy without it. We only drink water out of the tap on the refrigerator door. The water coming out of the sprinklers smells. I had heard that it is pond water but not positive of this.

We have the Nova Filtration system and it removed all of the nasty smell and chlorine taste from our water!

I'll live in the best place in the world along with no crap or smell in my water.

Nova filters can make it happen.

It is reclaimed water.

As to drinking our the fridge understand that tiny filter only filter down to 20-25 micron size particulate. And it is Bituminous coal or black coal a relatively soft coal containing a tarlike substance called bitumen.

the Nova carbon is 5 Micron, moreover it is made from coconut shell not bituminous coal that's a significant difference. If fact the highest grade carbon except for scientific grade.

Using the Nova filter you can completely remove your fridge filter saving a lot of $$ over the year.
