brake noise
 

My electric golf cart (a Star EV) is a month old and was purchased brand new. In the past week the brakes have started squealing when making slow stops. Sure, I'm going to call the dealer, but still want to educate myself. What might cause new brakes to squeal?

It should be a quick fix, pulling the drums off cleaning out dust accumulated from the cart sitting before delivary. The dealer should be able to correct the issue.
