Dems vs. Repubs

Watching talk shows and listening to pundants I find it very interesting that Democrats always refer to Clinton when referring to the greatness of their party but, never mention Carter. On the other hand the Republicans always refer to Reagan but, never mention Nixon.

Party guidelines?

You have to follow party guidelines right or wrong. That is what I hate about the party system.

Why do you have to. Be your own person. The answer is that both Presidents were the worst in the last 50 years but neither party wants to admit it.

Richard Nixon's problem was his paranoid persona. if it had not been for that, the Watergate incident would not have happened and he would have been regarded as a good President.

Jimmy Carter was a disaster.

What did George W. Bush do for the country that will be remembered in a positive way? I would rank him below Nixon in positive accomplishments but way above Nixon in integrity.

In your mind the Iraqi people probably don't count, but he did give the Iraqi people the opportunity to form a democratic government by ridding them of a brutal dictator.

Dictator and mass murderer. I was there when they dug up a mass grave of almost half a million civilians that Sadaam had used WMD's on. Yes, gas is considered WMD.

Nixon gave us peace with honor, what kind of crap was that.
Nixon gave us the EPA...are you following that yellow river flowing out west
Nixon gave us a visit to China and, while he was at it gave away the manufacturing base of the US.
Any other hurrahs you want to give tricky dick?

You folks are ignoring the elephant in the room "Obama" . Nixon and Carter will pale in comparison as to how history will treat this guy's manifest incompetence"

Personal Best Regards:

P.S. I am still waiting for Debbie Wassermann Schultz's answer to what is the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist as asked by Chris Matthews?
