The Irate Villages Senior..

The irate Villager called The Villages Daily Sun newspaper office and loudly demanded to know where her Sunday edition was since it was 10AM and not there yet!

"Ma'am," said the employee, "..today is Saturday. The Sunday paper is not delivered until Sunday."

There was a long pause on the other end of the phone, followed by a ray of recognition. 'Well .....I'll bet that's why no one was in church today too."

I've seen this tale before--a number of times--and guffaw every time I read it again! Much as we don't like to admit it ... how true, and more true with passing time....

The untimely death of Gilda Radner ('Rosanne Rosannadanna') was IMHO one of the most tragic losses in the entertainment industry in our lifetimes!
