Trustworthy and honest auto repair

I had been taking my ford mustang 05 V8 and my Lincoln MKX to both Ford of Leesburg and Lincoln across from the airport, they are good just not as reasonable, so after some looking around and trying other maintenance shops the very BEST and most HONEST guy around is MICHAEL'S AUTOMOTIVE in Fruitland Park. Michael is a great guy, works hard and is about the most decent guy I have come across in a long long time. My wife likes him too. Just can find a more low cost, reasonably price guy that will honestly TELL YOU THE TRUTH, and not charge an arm and a leg like the big dealerships do. I only go to Michael's. Give them a try.....just GOOGLE "Michael's Automotive and Repair, Fruitland Park" and you will be glad you did.

It's nice when we can find "honest" mechanics...I go to Sumter Tire and Auto on Rt. 301 in Wildwood and have been going there for 10 years and am still happy dealing with them and never felt like I was ripped off .

Believe it or not, before I read your posting, I had an appointment to take my car to Michael's shop. I had been there a couple of years ago with a power window problem and Michael wouldn't even take any money for fixing it as it said it was a simple fix.

I needed a couple of things done, one of them an air conditioning issue and the other was a radiator hose that needed to be replaced. Instead of waiting for the parts truck to deliver the hose and to save me some time, Michael actually went to get the hose while his technician worked on my air conditioner.

Folks, I was out of there in less that 90 minutes and based on previous experience at dealerships, I probably paid 1/3 of what I would have been charged at a dealership. Give him a try - you won't be sorry!

Another thumbs up for Michaels!

Make it yet another thumbs up for Michael's Auto in Fruitland Park. Been going to him for about 2 years now and from my viewpoint all of the above positive comments are factual. He's the Villages best kept secret (up until now!!!!)

Michael replaced my window switch and charged 1/3 of what I was quoted at the Lessburg Ford dealership. I agree that we should support honest and hard working business owners like this. I'm sure there are several dishonest mechanics out there that look at TV as a scalping opportunity.

I have not tried Michaels because I have been happy with Tricounty on 441 for five years

Twice we had things go wrong that were simple to fix. Twice Michael said "no charge for that" but we gave him $50 anyway for taking up his garage space and time.

As a newbie to TV, these posts are soooooooooooooo valuable! Our thanks to those who share their insight/experiences and to TOTV for providing a first rate Forum to share these learnings.

Because of the outstanding reviews here I went to Michaels Auto Repair when an engine warning light came on. He used his code reader to find the problem, and he told me it was insignificant and cleared the code which reset the engine warning light. He wouldn't accept payment even though I wanted to pay him.

He is a nice, intelligent, friendly man and he's my mechanic of choice from now on.

Folks give him a try before you go to the dealer, you'll be glad you did. If he thinks you need specialized dealer skills he will tell you so, like he did when we talked about my wife's Toyota Hybrid.

Wildwood Tire repaired a large plastic shield under my car Saturday after an object I ran over on the highway took out a plastic tab. 30 minutes on the lift and a couple of zip ties. No Charge! Thanks Gary! 352-748-1739. First time there

Another thumbs up for Tricounty
