Preview trip to TV
 

My companion (Kathy) and I (Gene) are arriving TV on Sunday. We're planning on playing golf Monday (Havana) and Wednesday (Glenview). We're in our early 60s. On a regular 18-hole course, we hit somewhere between 95-105.

We are so excited about arriving. Been there twice, and just can't get enough! Our plan is to retire there in 5 years (if we can wait that long!).

Any couple that would like to join us for golf? Also, we sure would like to play 1-2 rounds on the Executive courses (we've never played those). I don't think as guests we can directly make tee-time reservations, but we could certainly join a couple who live there and have that privilege. Or...are tee times not necessary at the Executive courses?

Just 4 more days...to Paradise. Don't rain on our parade, Gustav!

I was there last weekend and just showed up at a couple exec courses and had to wait less than 15 minutes to get out. Played Cane Garden CC with a tee time and Heron and Pelican exec courses in the afternoon with a very short wait. I am not all that sure I like the exec courses after playing a couple. 8 par 3's and one par 4 where I drove the green is not great golf. Probably OK to go out for some short iron practice, but once I am there full time I think I will join all 12 Championship courses. Also maybe good use of exec courses to go out in the evening for 9 holes vs going to happy hour. I may enjoy them more once there, but right now I as my time there is limited, I will play the CC courses.
