Belvedere Pool Issue Resolved
 

New chairs and chaises were put in to place at the Belvedere pool today.
For those of you who attacked for posting instead of going through the proper channels, many residents had made phone calls to the "proper channels".
Talk of the Villages is to discuss issues, good and bad re The Villages, as well as other topics of interest.
When I first posted it was out of frustration, because any of my friends HAD gone through proper channels to solve this problem. It seems like a posting on "Talk of the Villages" that had been viewed over 2000 times might have had an effect, or it was a coincidence.
You be the judge. Only, now we have proper furniture just like the other pools, and the furniture is beautiful. It now would be a pleasure to take friends and family to our pool..providing they are over 30, of course.

I am pleased that the Belvedere pool got new chairs.

I have noticed that everything is kept in order in and around TV, particularly the areas maintained by The VILLAGES. I would think that the chairs were on order and came in.

Where do you buy 40 or 50 chairs, or 20 or 30 chairs, or 10 or 20 chairs for immediate delivery. I can't think of anyplace that carries that many in stock. :dontknow:

Yes. It is a great place here on TOTV to bring up things that need corrected.

As I stated in another forum, I was at the Belvedere Pool yesterday and enjoying the new chairs, fresh paint, etc. There were about 10 or so people there. Everyone was commenting on how nice the chairs were when one gentleman commented "There is one thing wrong with them--the chair arms are brown--they will get hot in the sun and burn your arms."
He then stated "looks aren't everything!!!!" I just shook my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brown arms on the chairs? Oh my! Oh well I guess we have a new campaign to start. :joke:
