Remember When......
 

I took this photo while driving through Oxford, Florida one day. It reminded me of when our little ones had a tire swing and played in the yard.

This home was overgrown and unoccupied. So I thought I would name this one "remember when"

Yes, I remember it well. I had one too.

It took so little material wise when we were young to have fun. I remember my brothers making go carts out of scrap and buggy wheels. We used to walk miles and we used to play in and around Casa Loma, actually cooling off in the big fountains there. We knew every secret passage in the castle and pretended we were princesses. A couple of times we got caught but they knew us well. Two little sometimes raggedly-looking girls that somehow belonged there.

Lovely. Just as usual.

Our son & wife swing on one in their backyard. They are 41! They have a fire pit in the way back of the yard, and sometimes they camp out there.

However... my son rigs a tv & computer up so they can watch baseball and hockey games. Their back-to-nature routine only goes so far.:posting:

I remember
 

I was fortunate to return and live in the home my parents raised us in. All the memories, joys, fears of growing up.

Fantastic photo of days gone bye. Now if only the walls could talk, I think they'd be telling stories of a happy, loving family. Thanks for sharing with us.
