Yamaha gas cart just stopped!
Yes, it did have an old battery so we replaced it, but it didn't fix the problem. Not even a clicking! Is there another electrical component to check/replace?
|
A common problem could be an accelerator switch located under the floor panel.
The cart should be checked by a professional, guessing and replacing parts one at a time could be a waste of time and money. |
Thanks, Frank! My battery was shot. I checked it before I replaced it. The fuses I found are good. Shouldn't I be getting a reading from the solenoid when I have the ignition on? I suspect that it might be bad. I don't know how to remove the floor panel. I will take a look and see if I can do that and find the accelerator switch. Do ingest it with a meter like any other switch, or is it more complicated? My regular cart service folks can't come until Thursday. I'm just trying to get back in my cart before then. I will call your number today. Do you do in home service or pick up carts?

Yew are picking your cart up today as scheduled.
