The MARGO Show-October 8
 

Just wanted to mention that Margo Smith, of "It Only Hurts for a Little While" fame, aka the Tennessee Yodeler, is hosting a show at Savannah Center on Oct. 8. It is a fundraiser for Ukes for Kids, which raises money to buy ukeleles for kids in 140 hospitals across the US. They give them the ukes and teach them to play.

It is a variety show, with songs by Margo, soloists from The Villages Banjolele Club, Phil Caltabellota, aka Mr. Harmonica, and pianist, Earl Lavier. They will be accompanied by The Village Banjolele Club and the Fairway Praise Band.

Tickets are $20 for residents and are on sale at the Villages Box Offices.

Hope you can make it. It is shaping up to be a really fun night of musical entertainment for a good cause.
