Better that Russian kids die instead of our own. Let Putin be the hero, in the long run he'll be sorry for going in there, Afghanistan drained USSR resources in the eighties, let's see how well he does now. Regardless, I wish him well and ultimate success.

Well, you have a point in a way.

However, because of our lack of attention to this situation for the past 3 plus years, hundreds of thousands...or more...have died by gas sings and bombing. Many, if not most were children in the streets.

BUT, no Americans for sure.

I recall when the slaughter of people of any country mattered to us.

Black lives matter and American lives matter is the new mantra.

I am ashamed of my country ignoring this for so long, and we create not only another vacuum, but a refugee problem of the huge proportions.

I sure can't say what would have happened had we really cared about people being gassed, etc. but we didn't and as you said...at least all those bodies were not Americans.
