BEWARE - another Puppy Mill listing in Classified
 

new user, as of yesterday, Ambel, list bulldog puppies for $500. Notification sent to Mods to look into this.

How do you know this is a puppy mill and not someone who bred their dog ? I'm definitely a rescue person, but 3 pups doesn't necessarily mean puppy mill.

I had a registered boxer that had three litters during her lifetime. I advertised the puppies for sale in classifieds but never considered myself a "puppy mill". If it was a business listing I would be more concerned than an advertisement by an individual.

This site has been plagued with postings from a real puppy mill not far from the Villages. They have been relentless with their posts and have kept the Admin on his toes to quickly remove them. He has to evaluate each one and determine if indeed the puppies are for sale by a Villager. If they are outside the Villages they are not allowed to be posted on this site.

Sometimes just as bad
 

Sometimes individual breeders of their pet are as bad as puppy mills. Bad hips, eyes, not getting the pups to the vet after birthing. Akc has standards for breeding dogs even at home. The mills are the worst.

Call the number and you be the judge.
