Has anyone tried this place? Neighbors just called and said let's check it out tonight. The reviews I just read sound pretty good. I'll know soon!

We went to Charlie's Fish house. I had the soft shell crabs and hubs had surf and turf.
I thought it was mediocre. I might stop again if I was in the area, but I would never again drive that far to go there for dinner. The couple we went with are great, so that made up for an ordinary meal.

At least I heard Gator Joe's is kind of fun. Not worth the drive, huh?

I have never had a bad meal at Gator Joe's. It is a little crowded at times.

Gator Joe's gets a little loud from the band food not bad, but not worth

Gator Joe's is great if you bring the right people with you. Fun place, good food, and interesting crowd. You have to be young at heart to really enjoy it.

Gator Joe's is great if you don't want to eat. Fun bar and interesting over the lake location.

Service is nonexistent and the food is usually cold.

About a 40 minute ride from Spanish Springs area.
