Surely you don't mean to suggest that any news program would sacrifice journalistic integrity for ratings and entertainment value??? Surely not. I can't even imagine any news producer ever doing that:1rotfl:

Insurance is required on LSV's, which was the featured cart on the story. The female anchor probably got confused with the fact that LSV's can be operated on streets with the speed limit less than 45mph.

Heck, half of the residents of The Villages don't understand the difference between an LSV and regular cart, but plenty of them know that carts that exceed 20mph need insurance and a license plate but routinely operate them illegally.

The implication to me was that all 60,000 carts are lsv's when in fact they are a very small minority.

Yep 45 mph...needed more research

I watched crappie news for over an hour just to see this. Not very well done. It did make me very happy to be coming back to my 2nd home in a few weeks!
