Ethanol free Gas
Now using ethanol free gas in golf cart. Does that mean I don't have to treat it with STA-BIL. When it is shut down for awhile? Been using marine Sta-Bill for years w great success

A Honda dealer mechanic told me to use ethanol free gas and Fuel Stabilizer in my generator. This after cleaning crap out of my calibrator caused by ethanol setting stagnant in the carb. He said all gas needs Fuel Stabilizer if not used in a reasonable length of time.

This is true. Gas has always needed stabilizer long before ethanol was ever used. Left too long it will evaporate and leave a gooey mess. Ethanol makes it worse because it pulls water from the atmosphere and adds that to your tank. |
If you have a sealed fuel system such as a car with furl injection, you don't need stabilizer. Generators, lawn mowers, carbonated golf carts--need stabilizer
add it, run the engine so it gets thru every part of the fuel system used it on our gas boats in the 70's |
