Construction on 466
 

Does anyone know what is going on with 100's of dump trucks going in and out of a driveway which appears to be the Morse compound 466?

A retention pond is being dug. At least that was the conclusion on another thread.

i don't think i have been on 466 in the past 2 wks or more that I haven't seen a truck hauling dirt ...

Perhaps they are digging Lake Sumter Two?

Strangely enough, I just heard that one of two retention ponds in that area is being filled in, and that's what the truck traffic is all about.

That's what I thought. And you've got the view.

Early this week while I was stopped at the signal corner of CR42 and US301 I counted 4 loaded trucks turning west on 42 and five empties turning south on 301. That, for what it is worth, is a lot of dirt bring moved.

This has gone on non stop including Saturday and Sunday for about three weeks. I figure we should see some light from the other side soon.
