Seating at the Sharon - need help, pls.
I looked at the seating plans for the Sharon and can't tell if there are any stairs to get to seats. I recently had gone to Savannah Center and had to turn down my seats because they were high up and I'm not able to do stairs anymore. The usher told me I could take a vacant seat in the area where in the lower section after everyone was seated.
I'm not in a wheelchair or a walker but I just cannot climb up or down stairs any longer. I'm looking at the lower level and am wondering if there are any steps to get to the seats? Any help you could give me would be appreciated. Thank you. Kathie |
There are gradual steps, however, if you go to thesharon.com it shows the seating

We've sat in the balcony first row and there are no steps to get to your seat if you have the front row. Elevator to the balcony level. then a walk to the entrance to the balcony. One caveat. Don't book the end seats in the first row because the view is restricted by the railing.

There are steps to all of the seats, except those at the same level as the doors. If you cannot do any steps, then try calling for tickets, and explain that you need seats that are on the same level as the doors.
My other suggestions is to see if you can get in sometime before a show, and actually see what you can walk to. We have gone to the Sharon several times, but I am not sure of the row designations where the seats would have no steps. Hope this helps. |
Thank you so much for all the responses. I think I will pay a visit to the Sharon and ask to look at the seating. All suggestions will be considered, thanks again. Guess my dancing days are over, shucks!!!
